mcserverlist.app (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website as a directory for Minecraft game servers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When you register, we store your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plain-text passwords.
Server owners provide IP addresses, descriptions, logos, banners, and other information about their servers. This content is publicly visible on the directory.
We record anonymous interaction events against server listings, including:
These events are stored with a timestamp and server ID. They are used solely to generate analytics for server owners and to power the public leaderboard.
When you place a sponsored position bid, we record the amount, game category, and status. Payment confirmation is handled manually — we do not store credit card numbers or full payment details.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in between page loads. This is a strictly necessary cookie and cannot be opted out of while using your account. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
If you browse the site without logging in, no cookies are set.
Cloudinary — we use Cloudinary to host server logos and banners. Images you upload are stored on Cloudinary's CDN. See cloudinary.com/privacy.
Cloudflare Turnstile — we use Cloudflare's Turnstile widget on our login and registration forms to prevent automated abuse. It does not use cookies and does not track you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Account data is retained until you request deletion. Usage events (views, IP copies) are retained indefinitely to maintain accurate historical analytics for server owners. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
